  • For the dough: In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and butter with your hands until a homogenous dough is obtained.
  • In another bowl, mix egg, water, and vinegar with a fork. Mix into the dough.
  • On a floured surface, knead dough until a rustic dough is obtained. Cover in plastic wrap and let rest for 1 hour.
  • For the stuffing: Cut eggs into thin strips.
  • In a pot over low heat, heat oil and fry onion until translucent. Add garlic and oregano and stir constantly for 1 minute.
  • Add ground beef and cook for 5 to 10 minutes until cooked through. Add raisins, olives, and tomatoes.
  • Preheat oven to 212 °F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out dough and cut half-circles of about 3.9 inches to form the empanadas.
  • Stuff each dough half-circle with 2 tablespoons of ground beef stuffing. Cover with another dough half-circle and crimp the edges with a fork.
  • Bake empanadas for 20 minutes or until golden-brown.
  • For frying the Argentinian beef empanadas: In a pot, heat plenty of vegetable oil and fry beef empanadas for about 4 minutes until crispy.
