Easy
  • For the patties: In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, parsley, parmesan cheese, mustard, egg, and salt. Knead the patty mixture until it becomes sticky and binds together and form eight patties with your hands.
  • Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add oil to the pan, once hot add the patties and cook through. Reserve until ready to use.
  • Cut the Manchego cheese into long, thin slices. Wrap the Manchego cheese around the pineapple slices from the outer edge and through the center, then wrap the bacon around the Manchego cheese-wrapped pineapple slices. Reserve until ready to use.
  • For the BBQ sauce: In a bowl, mix tomato sauce, sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, apple cider vinegar, and salt until incorporated. Reserve until ready to use.
  • Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Once hot add the wrapped pineapple slices, brush them with BBQ sauce, and cook the bacon until fully cooked, brown, and crisp. Turn as needed to prevent burning.
  • For assembling the bacon-wrapped Hawaiian burgers: Place a leaf of lettuce, a burger patty and a wrapped pineapple slice on the bottom bun. Top the Hawaiian burger with avocado slices.
