  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, cut into large cubes
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into small-sized cubes
  • 4 tomatoes, peeled, finely chopped
  • 500 grams ground meat
  • 1 teaspoon chile powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon raw sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons thyme, dried
  • 4 tablespoons tomato purée
  • 1 1/2 cups black beans, cooked, without broth
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup lager beer
  • 1 bag nachos
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, for broiling

  • Preheat oven over 356 °F.
  • In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes until brown. Toss bell pepper and tomato. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add ground beef meat. Cook for 5 minutes until cooked. Add condiments, sugar, and tomato purée. Cook for 3 more minutes.
  • Add black beans. Season with salt and pepper. Pour in beer and cook for 40 minutes over low heat.
  • In a cast-iron pan, put nachos. Top with meat and cheddar cheese. Broil for 5 minutes in the oven.
  • Serve with Jalapeño chiles.
