  • In a bowl, mix garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and oil until a homogenous mixture is obtained. Set aside.
  • Place nopales on a chopping board. Baste on one side and roast on a hot grill pan. Spread oil on the other side of the nopal and flip to roast.
  • On a nopal, place two cheese slices. On another, place tomato and ham slices. Cook for 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Put both nopales together to make a sándwich. Serve with fruit and natural juice on the side.
