Chicken Fajitas

  • 800 grams chicken breast
  • some salt and pepper
  • some vegetable oil
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cups bell pepper, a mix of colors, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • some lime, for garnish
  • some fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • some flour tortillas, for serving

  • On a chopping board, cut chicken breast into fillets. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill fillets in a grill pan with a dash of vegetable oil until cooked through. Reserve until ready.
  • In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Cook onion and garlic. Add bell peppers and cook for 5 more minutes. Add fillets, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Serve hot. Garnish with lime and cilantro.
  • Serve with tortillas, beans, lime, and salsa verde on the side.
