  • Preheat oven to 338 ºF.
  • For the copycat KFC biscuits: Make a mound with flour, sugar, and salt on a clean surface. Mix thoroughly and add butter and cream cheese. Using a scraper and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Add eggs one by one, milk, and knead until perfectly incorporated. Don’t overwork the dough to keep it from turning elastic.
  • Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • On a floured surface, roll out biscuits dough and form a rectangle. Use your fingers to mark the dough and fold. Let sit for 3 minutes. Use a rolling pin to roll out dough until 0.1-inch thick.
  • Cut biscuits with a 3.1 inch-round cutter and transfer to a greased and floured baking sheet.
  • Use a smaller round cutter to create the traditional biscuit shape. Brush biscuits with egg yolk and bake for 25 minutes at 356 ºF.
  • In a bowl, mix milk and lime juice. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  • For the copycat KFC fried chicken: In a bowl, combine flour and spices. Mix thoroughly. Set aside.
  • In a different bowl, combine milk, apple cider vinegar, salt, and paprika. Mix until perfectly incorporated. Marinate chicken in the mixture for 25 minutes in the fridge to concentrate the flavor and soften the chicken.
  • Coat marinated chicken breasts with flour mixture. In a pot, heat oil over medium-high heat and fry chicken breasts until golden brown.
