In a bowl, season chicken wings with salt and pepper. Coat with flour and cornstarch, remove excess, and set aside.
In a small pot, heat oil and fry chicken wings until cooked through. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
In a bowl, dip chicken wings in BBQ sauce until completely covered.
