  • In a pot with salted hot water, cook potatoes over medium heat for 20 minutes or until soft on the inside and slightly firm on the outside. Drain and let cool. On a chopping board, cut potatoes into wedges.
  • In a bowl, mix wheat flour, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper thoroughly. Add potato wedges and toss until perfectly coated. Transfer coated potato wedges to a fine-mesh strainer to remove excess flour. Set aside.
  • In a pot over high heat, heat plenty of vegetable oil. Fry copycat McDonald’s potato wedges for 8 minutes or until golden brown. Drain copycat McDonald’s potato wedges on a paper towel-lined plate. Serve copycat McDonald’s potato wedges with cheddar cheese sauce.
