  • Preheat oven to 320 °F.
  • For the caramel: In a small pot over low heat, cook sugar until an amber caramel is obtained. Line flan pan with caramel and let dry.
  • For the flan: In a bowl, whisk eggs, egg yolks, condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla, and coffee until incorporated.
  • For the chocolate cake: In another bowl, whisk egg, sugar, and honey. Slowly add oil in an even stream. Add vanilla essence. Using a sieve, sift flour, cocoa, and baking powder.
  • Pour cake batter into the caramel-lined pan. Gently place flan mixture on top. Cover with aluminum foil and bake on a water bath for 1 hour 40 minutes. Cool, unmold, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • For the frosting: Mix cream cheese, icing sugar, and whipping cream until smooth and fluffy. Frost coffee chocoflan and garnish with chocolate chips and wafer rolls.
