Easy 4-Ingredient Flan

Four ingredients and some simple steps are all it takes to prepare this easy and delicious flan! This 4-ingredient flan features a porous texture that allows the caramel to take over the whole dessert for a sweet and soft dessert that will melt in your mouth!

  • 1/2 cups sugar, for the caramel
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup condensed milk

  • Preheat the oven to 356 °F.
  • In a small pot or skillet, heat sugar over low heat. Cook until caramel is obtained. Make sure not to stir too much to keep sugar from crystalizing.
  • Line flan cups with hot caramel. Let harden.
  • In a bowl, mix eggs, evaporated milk, sugar, and condensed milk. Pour into caramel-lined flan cups. Bake in a water bath for 40 minutes or until cooked.
  • Cool, unmold, and serve easy 4-ingredient flan.
