No-Bake Bûche de Noël

This super easy-to-prepare no-bake bûche de Noël, or yule log cake, is the perfect Christmas dessert! Topped with maraschino cherries and mint leaves, this deliciously sweet and refreshing festive dessert will add an elegant touch to any holiday feast.

  • 1 cup cream cheese, for the filling
  • 1 cup white chocolate, for the filling
  • 1 cup turrón, almond-based, for the filling
  • 2 cups María cookies
  • 1 cup cream cheese, for the frosting, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups hazelnut chocolate cream, for the frosting
  • some cocoa, for garnish
  • 3 maraschino cherries, for garnish
  • 1 leaf peppermint, for garnish

  • For the filling: Using a mixer, beat cream cheese until soft. Add melted white chocolate and turrón. Mix until perfectly incorporated.
  • Spread turrón cream on a Maria cookie and place another cookie on top. Repeat to make a log. Lay log horizontally and cover it with turrón cream. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • For the chocolate frosting: Mix cream cheese with hazelnut chocolate cream until completely incorporated.
  • Remove from fridge and cover with chocolate frosting. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish no-bake bûche de Noël with cocoa powder, maraschino cherries and mint leaf. Cut diagonally and serve.
