  • 8 cups water
  • 1/2 cups hibiscus flower
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • cloves
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 1 cup apple, cut into wedges
  • ice cubes
  • 2 grapefruit, cut into round slices
  • 4 guavas, cut into round slices
  • 4 cups red wine
  • sprigs fresh rosemary, for garnish

  • For the punch: In a small pot, heat water over medium heat. Add hibiscus flowers, sugar, cloves, and fresh rosemary. Bring to a boil and add apple wedges. Cook for 10 minutes and remove from heat. Let cool.
  • In a jug with ice cubes, place grapefruit and guava slices. Pour punch into the jug. Add red wine and fresh rosemary.
  • Serve boozy Christmas punch cold.
