Crazy Cantaritos

  • 2 limes, cut into wheels, for the rim and for garnish
  • 2 oranges, cut into wheels, for garnish
  • 1/4 cups chile powder
  • 1/4 cups salt
  • 1 cup ice cubes, crushed
  • 1/4 cups Tequila blanco
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons grapefruit juice
  • 1/4 cups pineapple, cut into cubes
  • 1 lime, one wedge
  • 1 grapefruit, one wedge
  • 1 orange, one wedge
  • 1/2 cups soda, grapefruit

  • Rub lime around the rim of a cantarito mug until wet.
  • On a plate, serve half of salt and half of chile powder. Dip the rim of a cantarito mug into the plate to create an even salt and chile powder rim.
  • Fill cantarito mug with crushed ice. Add blanco tequila, orange juice, grapefruit juice, pineapple cubes, and lime, grapefruit, and orange wedges.
  • Fill cantarito mug with grapefruit soda.
  • Garnish with orange and lime wheels. Serve crazy cantaritos with a straw.
