Mexican Chocolate Carajillo

  • 2 ounces espresso coffee
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 Mexican chocolate tablets
  • 2 ounces Licor 43
  • ice cubes
  • cookies, ground
  • honey
  • some marshmallow, toasted

  • In a pot, add milk and Mexican chocolate tablet and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes or until dissolved. Set aside.
  • Add ground cookies and honey on one plate each. Wet the rim of a glass with honey and dip it in ground cookies to create an even rim. Set aside.
  • Add ice cubes, espresso coffee, 2 oz previous mixture, and Licor 43. Mix thoroughly with a spoon.
  • Garnish Mexican chocolate carajillo with 2 toasted marshmallows in a roasting stick.
