  • 3/4 cups pinole
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cups condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder, for garnish

  • In a pot, heat water over low heat and add pinole. Stir until dissolved, Add cinnamon stick, milk, sugar, and condensed milk. Stir constantly until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Serve traditional atole de pinole in a clay mug garnished with cinnamon powder.
