Spiced Dried-Fruit Chutney

  • 3 cups peach, dried, cut into cubes
  • 30 grams golden raisins
  • 20 grams walnuts
  • 50 grams peanuts, peeled, unsalted
  • 50 grams Brazil nuts
  • 20 grams pistachios, peeled, unsalted
  • 30 grams raisins
  • 50 grams pecans
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 2/3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 2/3 cups brown sugar

  • In a pot, add dried peaches, golden raisins, walnuts, peanuts, Brazil nuts, pistachios, raisins, pecans, ground ginger, white vinegar, garam masala, water, salt, and brown sugar and brind to a boil.
  • Lower heat and let simmer for 30 to 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Once chutney has thickened it will look like a jam. Remove spiced dried-fruit chutney from heat and let cool.
