  • 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pork ribs, cut into chunks, 2.4 oz each
  • 3 cloves garlic, unpeeled 
  • 3 jars salsa, homemade, 7.4 oz each 
  • 3 pinches salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 cup purslane, leaves, rinsed and dried 
  • 1/2 onions, thinly sliced

  • In a small pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add pork ribs and garlic. Fry thoroughly. Remove fat from cooked pork ribs and set aside. Pour homemade sauce into the pot. Cover, lower heat, and cook for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat a bit of pork ribs fat. Add beans and fry for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
  • Serve pork ribs & beans garnished with purslane and onion rings.
