Chip-Crusted Elotes

  • 3 liters water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 ears corn, husked
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 cup Cheetos
  • 1 cup Doritos®
  • 1 cup tortilla chips
  • 1 cup Takis
  • lime

  • In a small pot heat water, add salt, and cook ears corn until tender. Let cool and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix mayonnaise and hot sauce thoroughly. Set aside.
  • Place Cheetos, Doritos, Tostitos, and Takis in a plastic bag each. Crush with a wooden spatula to a fine powder. Set aside.
  • On a chopping board, place ears corn and insert a wooden stick in each one. Lather with lime and spicy mayonnaise and coat with the crushed chips of your choice.
  • Serve chip-crusted elotes.
