  • In a clay pot over medium heat, melt lard. Add meat and cook for 10 minutes or until it turns color.  
  • Add orange juice, evaporated milk, herb bundle, garlic cloves, onion, and salt. Cook over medium heat for 1 hour. Strain and let cool.
  • On a wooden chopping board, cut meat into medium-sized cubes.
  • On a plate, place 2 corn tortillas and top with homemade carnitas. Serve homemade carnitas tacos with lime and salsa garnished with onion and cilantro.
