  • Before preparing homemade ketchup, sterilize a reused glass jar to store ketchup. In a pot with boiling water, place a glass jar facing up. Cover glass jar with water and add the lid. Heat for 10 minutes, remove glass jar, drain it, and place it on a paper towel. Set aside.
  • For the homemade ketchup: In a pot or non-stick deep skillet over low heat, add tomatoes, red bell pepper, and garlic and cook for about 15 minutes. Stir constantly.
  • Add raw sugar, apple cider vinegar, pimentón dulce, cinnamon powder, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix and cook for 15 minutes over low heat. Stir constantly.
  • Remove from heat and transfer to a blender. Blend until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Let cool and transfer homemade ketchup to the sterilized jar. Serve homemade ketchup with French fries.
