  • In a bowl, mix white vinegar, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper, and cornstarch. Add chicken and let marinate in the fridge for 1 hour. Set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat sesame oil, and cook ginger and garlic for 2 minutes. Add ketchup, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, honey, paprika, and cornstarch dissolved in water. Mix thoroughly. Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes or until a semi-thick sauce is obtained. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix wheat flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, baking powder, thyme, and salt. Add chicken and coat thoroughly.
  • In a pot over medium heat, heat plenty of oil and fry chicken for 4 minutes or until golden brown on the outside and cooked through on the inside. Remove Korean fried chicken and drain on a paper towel-lined plate
  • Serve Korean fried chicken on a plate spooned over with sauce and garnished with chives and sesame seeds.
