Baked Tostadas

These crispy, homemade baked tostadas are here to stay and it’s about time you whip up your own batch! You will only need water, masa dough, salt, and chia seeds to make it happen. It’s always better to have homemade baked tostadas at home than running to the store to buy some!

  • chia seeds, for garnish

  • In a bowl, mix masa dough and water until perfectly incorporated.
  • Form dough balls and shape them into tostadas using a tortilla press. Place tostadas on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with chia seeds. Bake for 10 minutes at 392 °F.
  • Serve baked tostadas.
