Pork Tenderloin with Sweet and Sour Sauce

  • 1/2 cups soy sauce, for the marinade
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar, for the marinade
  • 3/4 cups honey, for the marinade
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped, for the marinade

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped, for the marinade
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder, for the marinade
  • 1/4 tablespoons cinnamon, for the marinade
  • 1/2 cups sweet chili sauce, for the marinade
  • 2 tablespoons paprika, for the marinade
  • 1 pinch salt, for the marinade
  • 1 pinch pepper, for the marinade

  • Preheat oven to 392 °F.
  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, honey, garlic, mustard, orange juice, ginger, onion powder, cinnamon, sweet chili sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated. Set aside.
  • On a chopping board, tie pork tenderloin with kitchen twine to help it hold its shape. Place pork in the marinade. Spoon marinade over it until the whole piece is completely covered. Marinate for 30 minutes. Set aside.
  • Heat a T-fal® Hard Titanium skillet over medium heat. Once the Thermo-spot red point is completely red, add the marinated pork tenderloin and the marinade. Lower the heat. Cook for 30 minutes. Brush pork tenderloin generously with marinade.
  • Remove pork tenderloin from skillet. Place on a baking sheet with the marinade. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, glazing with the drippings until cooked through. Remove from the oven. Let rest before serving. Serve pork tenderloin with sweet and sour sauce.
