  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 120 grams butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup condensed milk, for the cheese filling
  • 1 package cream cheese, for the cheese filling
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence, for the cheese filling
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch, for the cheese filling
  • some icing sugar, for garnish
  • some strawberries, for garnish

  • Preheat oven to 374 °F.
  • On a clean surface, pile flour, sugar, and salt into a mound. Add butter and mix with a scraper until a crumbly consistency is obtained. Add egg and vanilla essence and knead until incorporated. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from the fridge and form dough balls. Place dough balls on a cupcake pan and press to form the crusts. Refrigerate for 15 more minutes.
  • For the cheese filling: In a blender, combine eggs, condensed milk, cream cheese, vanilla essence, and cornstarch and blend until smooth.
  • Pour previous mixture into the dough crusts up to ¾ capacity and bake for 10 minutes. Lower oven to 356 °F and bake for 10 to 15 more minutes or until the filling is firm and the edges are golden brown. Let cool and garnish cheese cubiletes with icing sugar and strawberries.
