  • In a skillet with plenty of water, cook lasagna sheets. Bring to a boil for 15 minutes. Remove pasta sheets from water and set aside.
  • In another skillet, melt butter. Add flour immediately.
  • Stir with a whisk until a paste is obtained.
  • Add milk little by little stirring constantly.
  • Season with nutmeg, white pepper, and salt.
  • Reduce until slightly thickened.
  • For assembling the creamy shrimp lasagna: In a small baking dish, place a layer of pasta and top with a layer of béchamel sauce or white sauce. Add a layer of shrimp and top with a layer of Gruyère cheese.
  • Repeat until all the lasagna ingredients are used up. Top creamy shrimp lasagna with Gruyère cheese.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 356 ºF for 15 minutes.
  • Remove aluminum foil. Bake creamy shrimp lasagna uncovered for 5 more minutes to broil cheese.
