  • some water, boiling, for cooking the pasta 
  • 400 grams elbow pasta
  • salt
  • 1 cup canned pineapple syrup
  • 1 cup deli ham
  • 1 cup canned pineapple
  • 1/4 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/4 cups celery
  • 1/4 cups carrot, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons parsley

  • In a pot, add salt and bring water to a boil. Add elbows pasta and canned pineapple syrup for a sweet and tropical flavor. Cook for 9 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold running water to halt the cooking process.
  • In a bowl, combine cooked pasta, ham, canned pineapple, mayonnaise, mustard, cream, celery, carrots, and parsley. Mix until perfectly incorporated.
  • Serve Hawaiian macaroni salad in a salad bowl.
