  • In a bowl, mix tuna, onion, garlic, cilantro, breadcrumbs, and egg.
  • Using your hands, form tuna meatballs on a chopping board. Stuff tuna meatballs with a small-sized asadero cheese cube. Seal tuna mixture tightly around the cheese and set aside.
  • For the chipotle sauce: In a blender, combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, chipotle chile, oregano, and chicken broth and blend until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sear tuna meatballs with a bit of oil. Pour sauce into the skillet and cook for 15 minutes. Adjust seasoning. Serve chipotle tuna meatballs garnished with oregano.
