  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 orange bell pepper
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shrimp broth
  • 1 cup pink shrimp
  • salt

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cups white wine
  • some fresh marjoram leaf
  • some shrimp brochette, for serving

  • In a griddle over medium heat, char bell peppers. Place them in a plastic bag. Let them sweat for 15 minutes.
  • Using a knife, peel and seed bell peppers.
  • Transfer bell peppers, onion, garlic, evaporated milk, shrimp stock, and shrimp to a blender and blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a small pot over medium heat, melt butter. Using a strainer, pour the creamy soup. Season with marjoram. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly, or until a smooth consistency is obtained.
  • Serve creamy shrimp soup hot with a shrimp and bell peppers brochette and crusty bread.
