  • In a skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until golden brown. Remove shrimp.
  • In the same skillet, cook onion and garlic until softened. Add canned pineapple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ketchup, chipotle chile, and cumin, and cook until thickened.
  • Return shrimp to skillet and add pineapple cubes. Pour sauce over shrimp and pineapple cubes constantly to glaze. Serve Hawaiian shrimp on top of a bed of white rice garnished with chopped green onion stalks.
