Shrimp Sandwich Loaf

  • 2 packages cream cheese, 6.7 oz each, for the dip
  • 1/4 cups mayonnaise, for the dip
  • 1/4 cups sour cream, for the dip
  • 1 can smoked oysters, 2.8 oz, finely chopped, for the dip
  • 3 tablespoons salsa macha, for the dip
  • some salt and pepper
  • 15 slices sandwich bread
  • 2 cups pink shrimp, cut into small-sized cubes
  • 1 cup surimi, cut into small-sized cubes
  • 1 cup cucumber, cut into small-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cucumber, cut in half-moons
  • 1 cup cherry tomato, cut in half
  • 1 cup pink shrimp
  • 1 cup green olives, cut in half
  • 1 cup surimi, cut into cubes
  • some cucumber, cut into sticks

  • In a bowl, cream cream cheese. Add mayonnaise, sour cream smoked oysters, and salsa macha. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Cut the crusts off the sandwich bread slices.
  • Line a bowl with plastic wrap and arrange sandwich bread slices slightly pressing the edges onto each other so that they stick together.
  • Spread a bit of oyster dip on the sandwich bread. Place half of the shrimp, surimi, cucumber, and chives in the center. Top with more sandwich bread slices. Repeat until all the ingredients are used up. Top with more sandwich bread slices and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Unmold on a plate and spread leftover dip all over the sandwich loaf. Garnish from the bottom up starting with a row of cucumber half-moons alternating with cherry tomatoes. Form a second row on top with shrimp and green olives.
  • Form a third row on top with shrimp and surimi. Form a fourth row with cherry tomatoes and place cucumber sticks at the center. Cut and serve shrimp sandwich loaf.
