  • Heat oil in a large skillet. Fry pine nuts for 1 minute or until slightly brown.
  • Move skillet constantly to keep pine nuts from burning.
  • Remove pine nuts. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Add paprika until pine nuts turn red. Set pine nuts and a bit of oil from the skillet aside.
  • Remove stem from green beans. Remove strings if needed.
  • Place green beans in a pot with boiling water. Cook for 5 minutes or until tender but firm. Drain.
  • Use reserved oil to fry onion for 5 to 10 minutes. Add garlic. Fry for 30 more seconds.
  • Place green beans in the skillet. Mix with onion and garlic until warm.
  • Add lime juice. Stir and spread pine nuts on top. Serve immediately.
