This authentic tlayudas recipe is one of many mouthwatering and traditional antojitos from Oaxaca and the combination of refried beans, Oaxaca cheese, avocado, tomatoes, white cabbage, cecina, and chorizo will make you feel as if you were there.   • 1 tortillas, for the tlayuda
  • 1 cup cecina
  • 1 cup chorizo
  • 2 tablespoons lard
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup Oaxaca cheese
  • 1 cup white cabbage
  • 1 cup tomato
  • 1 cup tomato
  • 1 cup avocado
  • some red salsa, for serving

  • On a grill, cook cecina on both sides for about 5 minutes. Cut into strips and set aside.
  • In a skillet, fry chorizo for 10 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil. Set aside.
  • On a griddle, toast the tortilla until golden brown. Set aside. Spread lard on the tortilla and top with beans, Oaxaca cheese, white cabagge, cecina, tomato, avocado, and chorizo.
  • Serve authentic tlayudas on a plate with red salsa on the side.
