  • In a pot with water, cook the skirt steak with onion, garlic, salt, and bay leaf for 1 hour or until meat is cooked through. Cool.
  • On a chopping board shred meat using a fork. Reserve.

  • In a skillet, heat oil and cook onion, meat, and sauce for 20 minutes. Adjust seasoning.
  • Serve beef tinga with guajillo chile with rice and tortillas.
