  • In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes. Once onion turns color, add ground beef and cook for 5 minutes or well cooked.
  • Add chili powder, oregano, ground cumin, paprika, Cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, pepper, mix thoroughly.
  • Add crushed tomatoes and canned red beans. Cook over low heat for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve chili con carne garnished with sour cream, Cheddar cheese and tortilla chips.
