  • 1 kilo skirt steak
  • 1/2 onions
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 leaves bay
  • 3 tomatoes, cut into small-sized cubes and seeded
  • 1/2 red onions, thinly sliced
  • 6 radishes, cut into small-sized cubes
  • 3 serrano chiles, finely chopped, seeded
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 romaine lettuces, shredded
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • tostadas, for serving
  • avocado, for garnish
  • 1 pinch oregano

  • In a pressure cooker, heat water over medium heat. Add skirt steak, onion, garlic, and bay leaves and cook for about 1 hour. Let cool.
  • Using forks, shred skirt steak.
  • In a bowl, mix shredded skirt steak, tomato, red onion, radish, serrano chile, cilantro, and romaine lettuce.
  • Season with lime juice, white vinegar, oregano, and salt. Serve shredded beef tostadas topped with avocado and oregano.
