Easy
  • In a bowl, mix pork loin, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch until completely incorporated. Let marinate pork loin in the fridge for at least 40 minutes.
  • For the sauce: In a pot over medium heat, cook sesame seeds, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, cornstarch, white pepper, and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Cook until it is reduced and thickens. Let cool and set aside.
  • In a wok, add 2 tablespoons of sesame seed oil and cook edamame for 3 minutes. Remove from the pot and set aside. In the same wok, heat a bit of sesame seed oil and cook marinated pork loin. Stir constantly and cook for at least 20 minutes. Remove marinated pork loin from wok and set aside.
  • In the same wok, cook onion, garlic, and ginger for at least 3 minutes or until translucent. Add green bell peppers, button mushrooms, and wheat germ. Cook vegetables until they turn color and they reduce in size. Add broccoli, yellow corn kernels, and marinated pork loin. Fry and stir constantly for 5 minutes. Mix until completely incorporated.
  • Pour in sauce and mix thoroughly. Flash fry chop suey.
  • Serve chop suey on a deep soup bowl garnished with snow peas, sesame seeds, and chile flakes.
