  • 1 cup granulated sugar, 7 oz, for the caramel
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/4 cups orange juice
  • some orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • some orange wedges, for garnish
  • some peppermint, for garnish

  • For the caramel: Melt sugar over low heat. Pour into a baking pan. Cool at room temperature.
  • Preheat oven to 374 °F.
  • For the flan: Combine condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream cheese, orange juice, orange zest, cornstarch, and vanilla in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour mixture into the caramel-lined pan. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake on a water bath for 50 minutes at 374 °F. Let cool. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Unmold easy orange flan and garnish with orange wedges and mint.
