Jicama Nieve

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 jicama, cut into cubes 
  • some lime, for serving 
  • some chamoy, for garnish 
  • some piquín chile powder, for garnish

  • In a blender, combine water, sugar, and jicama and blend until smooth.
  • In a stainless bowl, place previous mixture and freeze for 1 hour. Remove from the fridge and stir constantly and repeatedly until sorbet is formed. Serve jicama nieve scoops in a glass with a few drops of lime juice and garnish with chamoy and chile powder.
