Easy
  • On a flat surface, pile flour into a mound and add yeast, milk, sugar, salt, and eggs. Mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Add butter and knead for 15 minutes until a soft dough is formed.
  • In a previously greased bowl, place donut dough and cover with a wet cheesecloth. Let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • On a floured surface, roll out donut dough with a rolling pin until it is 0.3-inch thick. Let proof for 10 minutes. Using lids or cookie cutters, cut out donuts and donut holes.
  • In a small pot over low heat, heat oil and fry mini donuts for about 5 minutes. Flip to cook both sides through. Once golden brown, remove some donuts and drain on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
  • On a plate, add granulated sugar. Remove remaining mini donuts from oil and coat them with granulated sugar on both sides.
  • Cover a few drained mini donuts with melted chocolate. Cover remaining drained mini donuts with rainbow sprinkles. Let dry.
  • For assembling the mini donut pops: Insert a popsicle stick into each mini donut.
  • Arrange mini donut pops in a wooden popsicle stand.
