  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 4 cups cow's milk
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch, dissolved in water
  • walnuts, chopped, for garnish

  • In a blender combine pecans, sugar, vanilla essence, and milk and blend until smooth.
  • Pour previous mixture in a small pot. Add cinnamon and previously dissolved cornstarch. Cook for 10 minutes. Garnish pecan atole with chopped pecans.
