Mango Chamoy Michelada

In Mexico, micheladas are popular beer-based drinks made with lime juice, chile powder, and different seasoning sauces that make up a refreshing and slightly spicy cocktail served in a glass or mug with a salted rim. As tasty as can be, this mango chamoy michelada is both sweet and spicy thanks to a mouthwatering combination of fruit, hot sauce, and lime juice no one can resist!

  • 1/2 cups mango, cut into cubes, for the mango pulp
  • 1 tablespoon chamoy, for the mango pulp
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice, for the mango pulp
  • 1/3 limes, for the rim
  • some salt, for the rim
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce, preferably snack sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoons Maggi seasoning
  • 1 bottle lager beer
  • 1/4 cups mango, cut into cubes, for serving
  • some mango, for serving
  • some cucumber, for serving

  • Combine mango pulp, chamoy, and lime juice in a blender and blend until perfectly smooth. Reserve.
  • Wet the rim of a beer mug with lime. Dip mug in salt.
  • Pour prepared mango pulp into the rimmed beer mug. Add hot sauce, lime juice, and Maggi seasoning. Fill with beer up to the middle. Add mango cubes and the rest of the beer. Garnish the mango chamoy michelada with cucumber and mango.
