Mazapán Atole

Atole is a traditional Mexican hot beverage usually prepared with milk, water, and masa dough.   • 4 cups cow's milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cups light condensed milk
  • 5 mazapanes
  • 5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 stick cinnamon, for cooking the atole

  • In a blender, combine milk, water, condensed milk, evaporated milk, mazapán, and cornstarch and blend until smooth.
  • In a small pot, pour previous mixture and cook over medium heat. Add cinnamon stick and cook until thick. Serve mazapán atole warm.
