  • Preheat oven to 374 °F.
  • In a saucepan, heat butter and sweat onion, garlic, celery, carrot, and finely chopped shallots for 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Add 1/3 cup of ketchup and cook for 1 minute stirring constantly.
  • In a bowl, mix vegetables, ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, and parsley. Place mixture in a greased terrine mold and top with remaining ketchup.
  • Bake classic meatloaf for 1 hour or until the meat thermometer reads 155 °F.
