  • 1 cup dried apricots
  • 1 cup prunes
  • 1 cup hibiscus flower
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 cups chile powder
  • 1 orange
  • 3 limes

  • In a pot add water, prune, apricot, and hibiscus. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Transfer all ingredients to a blender and use a bit of the water in the pot. Add sugar, salt, and chile powder.
  • Blend mixture until smooth.
  • Heat mixture for 3 minutes. Add orange and lime juice and mix until thoroughly incorporated.
  • Remove from heat. Cool. Serve.
