Creamy Mushroom Pasta

  • 500 grams spaghetti pasta, (one package)
  • 1 cup whole milk, for the mushroom sauce
  • 1 cup cream cheese, for the mushroom sauce
  • 1 cup canned mushroom, drained, for the mushroom sauce
  • 3/4 cups whipping cream, for the mushroom sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder, for the mushroom sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups celery, cut into small-sized cubes
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, sliced, for the pasta
  • salt, for the pasta
  • pepper, for the pasta
  • 1/4 cups parsley, finely chopped, for the pasta
  • some oregano, for garnish

  • In a small pot with hot water cook spaghetti for 8 minutes. Strain and set aside.
  • Combine whole milk, cream cheese, canned mushrooms, whipping cream, and onion in powder in a blender and blend until a homogenous mixture is obtained.
  • In a small pot with butter, cook garlic and celery until they turn color. Add mushrooms, spaghetti, and sauce. Mix and season with salt, pepper, and parsley. Cover and cook for 8 minutes or until mushrooms are cooked through.
  • Serve creamy mushroom pasta in a deep dish with oregano.
