  • some vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups rice, soaked in hot water
  • salt
  • 2 cups pineapple
  • 1 1/2 cups bacon, fried and chopped
  • 1/2 cups parsley
  • some parsley, leaves, for garnish

  • In a blender, combine water, garlic, and onion. Set aside.
  • In a pot over medium heat, heat oil. Add rice and fry for 5 minutes or until slightly golden brown. Add blended mixture, cover, and cook for 15 minutes. Add bacon, pineapple, and parsley. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes so it cooks through. Serve Hawaiian rice.
