  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • some sparkling water
  • 2 cups fish, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • salt
  • some vegetable oil
  • some hot sauce, for garnish
  • potatoes, sautéed, for serving

  • In a bowl, mix wheat flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and sparkling water until a semi-thick batter is obtained. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, add lime juice and salt. Marinate the fish strips in the mixture for 10 minutes. Dip marinated fish strips in the batter.
  • In a pot, heat plenty of oil and fry battered fish strips for about 10 minutes. Serve battered fish sticks with sautéed potatoes and topped with hot sauce and dressings.
