  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into cubes
  • 2 garlic
  • 1/2 cups onion, cut into medium-sized cubes
  • 1/2 cups leek, sliced
  • 1/2 cups celery, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 1/2 cups Gouda cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cups cream cheese, cut into small-sized cubes

  • In a pot, heat butter and add onion, garlic, leek, and celery. Cook over medium heat until they turn color. Add flour and brown slightly. Add chicken broth and cook for over 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • Transfer mixture to a blender, blend for 5 minutes until smooth and return to the stove. Add Gouda and cream cheese. Cook for 10 minutes over low heat until cheeses are perfectly incorporated. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Transfer to a blender, blend for 5 minutes, and return to the stove. Add Gouda and cream cheese.
