  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cups requesón
  • 1/4 cups epazote
  • salt

  • 10 tortillas
  • 3 avocados
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • 1/4 cups low-fat cream
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cups fresh cilantro
  • 2 Habanero chiles, charred

  • 1/4 cups Cotija cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cups red onion

  • In a skillet, heat oil. Add onion, garlic, requesón, and epazote. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • For assembling the requesón taquitos: Stuff tortillas with requesón. Roll up and fry.
  • For the guacamole salsa: Combine avocado, lime juice, cream, garlic powder, onion powder, cilantro, Habanero chile, salt, and pepper in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Serve requesón taquitos with avocado salsa, Cotija cheese, and red onion.
