  • Peel and cut potatoes into round slices. Set aside.
  • Combine cream cheese, whipping cream, milk, thyme, garlic, and onion powder in a blender and blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  • Preheat oven to 356 °F.
  • Grease a baking dish with butter. For the potato & bacon gratin: Arrange potatoes at the bottom of the baking dish. Add fried bacon. Pour sauce. Add basil and cover with Manchego cheese. Repeat the process to create additional layers until there is no cheese left. Bake for 35 minutes at 356 °F. Serve hot.
